I'm going to be on Alan Beswick's show on BBC Radio Manchester today to talk about the Political Blogging Panel Discussion happening Sunday at Urbis, the upcoming Manchester Blog Awards, and the whole weblog phenomenon. I've been told it'll be on sometime between 2 and 4 pm.
I bet I'm gonna be saying the word "blog" a lot.

I heard you on the Alan Beswick show today on my lunch break before I read your blog. For some reason when Alan mentioned blogs and then introduced you as a freelance journalist, I thought to myself that if she has an American accent it could be the Yankunian!and it was! It was rather surreal to have someone who has linked to my own blog talking about blogs on an interview about blogs on the radio.
I am glad you tried to tell Alan it wasn't just politicians who blog too as he seemed totally lost on what blogs were!
Thanks Kit! I'm glad there were some "friendly ears" out there. It was a bit of a whirlwind, as I think I was only on air for about five minutes (at 12:30, totally got the time wrong) but it was good fun.
